Coco-de-Mer Hotel & The Black Parrot Suites
The modern 4-star Coco De Mer and Black Parrot Suites is set in over 200 acres of natural beauty on the edge of the Indian Ocean. Named after the unique Coco de Mer Palm tree which, although extremely rare, occurs in abundance in the tropical forests surrounding the property, the hotel features spacious grounds, comfortable rooms, a private location and a friendly atmosphere offering spectacular views of the surrounding islands, forested mountainsides and glorious sunsets.
Adjacent to the Coco De Mer, our junior suite wing, “the Black Parrot”, is perched on an imposing granite rock out-crop that offers magnificent views of the surrounding ocean.
Location
The Coco de Mer and Black Parrot Suites are located on the south west coast of Praslin, the second largest island in the Seychelles, at Anse Bois de Rose, 40km north-east of the main island of Mahé.
Rooms
A range of rooms, Standard, Superior and Junior Suites are available. All rooms are spacious, open and airy, modern and comfortable. Interconnecting rooms are available and facilities include air conditioning, “in-room” baths, bathroom, satellite television, balcony/terrace, tea and coffee facilities, mini refrigerator, safe and hairdryer. All room categories are sea facing.
Children under the age of 14 are not permitted at The Black Parrot Suites.
Restaurant/Bar
Our restaurants offer a variety of local and international cuisine. The Hibiscus Restaurant offers full English Breakfasts, International & Creole cuisine, barbecues, themed buffets and table d’hôte menus. The Mango Terrace Bar and Restaurant offers a mouth-watering à la carte lunch and dinner menu. The Coconut Bar, situated in the Coco de Mer lounge, is the perfect spot to enjoy your afternoon sundowners. A private bar, the Black Parrot bar, is located in the Junior Suite wing.
Live entertainment is provided several nights weekly. Children’s menus, vegetarian meals and certain dietary needs may be requested.

Swimming pools, gym, bicycles, mini golf, tennis, snorkelling, scuba diving, canoeing, wind surfing, deep sea fishing and yacht charters.
Other
Prevailing winds and tides can cause a build-up of seaweed during certain times of the year (typically, from time to time during the May to October period); however, guests always have access to ample sun-bathing areas, large sand-terraces, palm tree-strung hammocks and sun loungers.
